In the past we have mocked Arsene Wenger and his knee-length puffa. We just assumed it was the longest coat in football.
That was until we spotted Gus Poyet’s dugout attire for Brighton’s match against Huddersfield last weekend. The ex-Chelsea man wore the first bit of gear we have seen that could truly challenge Wenger’s humongous jacket.
The Uruguayan’s coat was so long that it attracted comment and a bit of a smirk from Terriers boss Lee Clark. At least we think the coat was the issue – in the image above it looks like he might have flashed him.
Anyway, now we are doubting ourselves. Is there a longer coat in world football?
