Reidy gives a masterclass to worst team in Britain

As revealed exclusively on Off The Post last week, Plymouth manager Peter Reid has visited OTP’s adopted side Madron FC to take the self-proclaimed worst team in Britain for a special training session.

Sadly, the rumoured training match against the Argyle squad did not materialise but has now been pencilled in for pre-season.

Madron player Jon Spencer told OTP he was delighted with Reid’s input.

He said: “Peter was fantastic. He was very eager to point out where we were going wrong, didn’t look down on us at all, and kept refering to us as “we”, which I thought was a nice touch.

“He advised us on our formation, movements and defence. I hope it will improve our performance. He’s certainly taught me a lot and hopefully my defensive game and positioning will improve.”
