David Beckham has completed a medical at Tottenham Hotspur ahead of his potential loan move to the club. There has been no official confirmation on the outcome of the examination, but the thumbs-up given by Becks as he left can probably be taken as a universal gesture of ‘it didn’t go too badly’.
The 35-year-old met Spurs’ medical staff at 10.15am this morning. Manager Harry Redknapp and his players had the day off after yesterday’s FA Cup victory over Charlton.
The LA Galaxy player has permission to train with Spurs until mid-February ahead of the start of the new MLS season in March. But he is eager for a playing return to the Premier League in a loan deal which has been on and off more times than Gary Neville’s microwave.
Becks was eager to show-off his new affiliations, and left the training ground still wearing his Spurs tracksuit.
