Jermaine Pennant forgot that he had left a Porsche parked at a Spanish railway station for five months, according to reports on Mirror Football.
The Stoke City winger was allegedly contacted by former club Real Zaragoza after city authorities called them about the car. If you are wondering how the council bods knew who to call, the Porsche had the registration plate ‘P33NNT’. When Real Zaragoza officials broke into the car, they found the keys on the seat!
Despite the registration plate, Pennant is reported to deny any recollection of the car and his agent denied there has been any oversight.
OTP will always have a soft spot for Pennant’s time at Zaragoza since we broke the news that he was moving to Spain.
