Tractor Boys giantkilling on hold. Damn two-legged semi-finals
Ipswich pulled off a shock victory over Arsenal in their Carling Cup semi-final first-leg tie. In the end the below-par Gunners were lucky to come away from Portman Road with just a one-goal deficit.
The only goal of the game was scored by Tamas Priskin. The Hungarian took advantage of just one of the many opportunities where Arsenal’s defence decided to part and give him a free run towards goal.
The result was the perfect comeback for Ipswich following their 7-0 FA Cup thrashing at Chelsea last weekend.
