‘Do Are Ya? Everton fan turns up to the match in hair curlers

Looking good

If you have ever been shopping in Liverpool at the weekend you will know that a worryingly large proportion of the city’s female population believe that Saturday’s are for wandering round in hair curlers and often pyjamas.

This woman decided to follow her outing to Primark with a trip to Goodison Park to watch Everton take on Fulham. But it was a Saturday, so the curlers stayed.

Being from Liverpool and living here almost my whole life (apart from 3-year stint at Uni and when i lived abroad as a kid), I can vouch for the accuracy of this article… I’ve seen this trend get worse and worse over the years and if it’s anything like the other trends that i’ve seen, the chavs in other towns will be doing it soon too.

I can’t recall seeing anyone in town in Pyjamas, although I have heard rumours that it’s happened. Normally the pyjamas thing only ever seemed to happen when someone needed some bits from the local shop. It’s pretty shameful any way you look at it.

If i go to town during the day on the weekend shopping with the Mrs, i always see at least one girl with hair curlers in.
