Pique of the pops

Real Madrid have banned Shakira’s songs from being played in the Santiago Bernabeu after the Colombian pop star blatantly flaunted her relationship with Barcelona defender Gerard Pique.

We all knew that the couple had hooked-up, but at least they kept their business behind closed doors. Now the brazen hussy has started posting photos of her and Pique on her Twitter profile, and it’s all got a bit too much for Real.

Her World Cup hit Waka Waka had been a favourite on the Bernabeu’s PA system since Spain’s triumph last summer. But Spanish newspapers AS and Marca have both reported that all Shakira tracks have now disappeared from the playlist without explanation.

Real are feeling understandably let down after rounding-up Shakira to join their collection of celebrity fans a few years back.

    real are acting like infants.
why can’t she still be “celebrity” supporter of real while seeing a player, who could move to another club tomorrow. My wife and I follow different clubs.
    Also why brazen?
