OTP Podcast: Episode 6 – Oh Fernando!
Call me Blacktooth
Greetings! The Off The Post Podcast is back with its knives and forks at the ready as it prepares to chomp through the meat and veg of last weekend’s Premier League action.
It was a rather eventful weekend, so as per usual we’ve made sure we focus on all the big talking points: Leroy Lita’s pecs, Colin Kazim-Richards’ dance moves, and has DJ Campbell been eating crude oil? Of course we’ll also be delving into the most bizarre happenings of world football which this week include Maradona’s Middle Eastern managerial debut and where you can see Jack Warner’s very own variety showcase.
Arsenal fans will be hoping that their new left back Andre Santos fares better on the pitch than attempting to out-dance Colin Kazim-Richards at this children’s birthday party. Judging by this showing, they shouldn’t be getting their hopes up…..
It hasn’t taken long for Diego Maradona to put his managerial stamp on UAE side Al Wasl: plenty of attacking flair but no defence to speak of as they went down 4-3 in his first competitive game in charge. Flick to 2.40 for an excellent grizzly bear impression.
It looks like FC Sion fans have found a way to cut out corruption in FIFA. Just shout at Sepp Blatter and he can’t get anything done. Not quite the homecoming Big Sepp was hoping for when he attempted to make this speech in his home town of Visp, Switzerland. Get a soundproof marquee next time.
Don’t you just love the magic of the Under-23 Prince Faisal Bin Fahad Cup?
