OTP Podcast: Episode 16 – Yak Attack
Mick McCarthy… bareback
Coming at you like Mick McCarthy riding a stallion bareback across an open field, the Off The Post Podcast is back and ready to gallop through the weekend’s Premier League action, hopefully coming out the other side with something vaguely resembling coherent audio.
On this week’s show we’ll be cleaning the following muck out of the Prem stables: an apology to Blackburn’s goal scoring caterpillar; Fergie shows his soft, fuzzy side; some huge news from the South Asian Football Federation Championships; and why you should never hire a children’s entertainer in Hoffenheim – just ask Ryan Babel. Get your jodhpurs on.
This Nepalese wonder strike moved them one step closer to progression from Group B of the South Asian Football Federation Championships and set up a grudge match with Pakistan (trust me, there’s a back story to this one). Full update of their progress to follow next week!
500 Premier League games and Emile Heskey still hasn’t quite got the art of time wasting worked out yet. Put it in the corner to run down the clock when you’re WINNING Emile, not when you’re 1-0 down. Still, by keeping the scoreline that way it at least keeps the goal difference almost in check.
We can’t wait until Arsenal travel to the Stadium Of Light now Martin O’Neill is in charge. Time to get Muzzy Izzet’s agent on the phone.
