The Graham Norton Show isn’t perhaps the most normal of environments for Premier League footballers, but maybe Didier Drogba isn’t a ‘normal’ footballer.
The Chelsea striker’s appearance was related to his humanitarian efforts in the name of the Didier Drogba Foundation, which aims to build orphanages in poverty-stricken Africa.
However, Drogba also managed to find time within the interview to describe that he has a pair of lucky boxers that he used to wear for games:
I always play a game with my baby’s plastic hospital identity bracelet and I used to have lucky boxers. But I played so many matches I can’t wear them anymore because they are full of holes.
Too much info, perhaps, but you can watch the whole interview above.
