League One side Swindon knocked Stoke out of the Capital One Cup last night, largely thanks to a hat-trick from James Collins.

But that still wasn’t enough to please Robins boss Paolo Di Canio. The feisty Italian celebrated Collins’ second goal of the night by calling the striker over, prodding him in the chest and kicking him up the backside.

The score was 0-2 at that stage. The Potters fought back to make it 2-2 before Di Canio’s man-management tactics belatedly took effect in injury time to help Swindon secure a 3-4 win.
