The France international whipped a baby’s dummy – as in a dummy that would ordinarily be used by a baby (we’re not suggesting he stole it from a specific baby) – out of his shorts after finding the net in his side’s 2-1 victory over Sparta Prague.

Now, before we go any further, there are not too many places you can store something in a pair of football shorts… which does cast a bit of a shadow over Gomis’ celebration.

And the referee wasn’t keen on it either. He gave him Gomis yellow card.
