Francesco Totti has been Mr Roma for some time, but it now appears that he is Mr Rome too.

After having previously released a best-selling joke book, Totti has now reverted to travel guides, putting his gladiatorial frame on the cover of E mo’ te spiego Roma, or a Guide to Rome.

The book is available for less than eleven Euros on Amazon.it, as well as the bargain price of 6.99 for the Kindle version, but the best thing we can find is Amazon’s decription of the book.

Crowbarred into Google translate, it appears as the following:

Nothing to do, when in Rome, the foreign players rosicano. Try to look at the next game of Rome against a European team if you do not beat down hard: it is because of the beauty of our monuments. A trip up to the Altar of the Nation . a “tackle” slipped to the Domus Aurea. behind an entrance to the Catacombs of San Callisto. So I said, a bit ‘for the famous Fair Play in the Champions League, a bit’ for the fan who is in away with his team, a little ‘to my desire to talk about my city, which is a bit’ like you could walk, mo ‘I am writing a small guide of Rome. a little something simple, with the most representative , famous people and some historical curiosity. Hopefully, the next game, to have a kick in the shins less and more than a tourist. “And so was born this book: a guide to ancient and modern Rome (history, mythology, monuments, traditional cuisine, the idioms Romans) as seen through the eyes of Francesco Totti and told with his unique humor.

All very clear, I’m sure you will agree.
