Argentinian substitute goalkeeper runs on field to make save

Helping out your team mates is one thing, but there has to be a limit.

During an Argentinean league game between San Martin and Bell Ville, reserve goalkeeper Marcos Juarez long jumped over the mark by rushing onto the field to make a save.

The Bell Ville forward ran through and slotted the ball past the goalkeeper on the field, but although the striker thought he had scored, Juarez had other ideas and ran on and made a diving save.

The referee ordered Juarez from the field and gave Bell Ville a free kick, which they missed. The reserve will get a ban, but as he is not first choice anyway, that doesn’t really matter!
