David Beckham has confirmed he will leave LA Galaxy next month after six years in the MLS.

The 37-year-old said: “I wanted to experience one last challenge before the end of my playing career.”

All the rumours are linking the former England skipper with a move to Australia to steal some of Emile Heskey’s thunder, but Beckham’s representatives are still denying that. Nonetheless, Melbourne Heart seem to think they are discussing a 10-game spell with Becks’ people.
