For each day of advent (or up until the 22nd) we will be looking at the club shop of each Premier League club to pick out the strangest or oddest gift.

Today is the turn of Reading, a club that should be congratulated for not selling anything completely ludicrous, although that is slightly disappointing.

However, there is for sale an object that should be seen as a line in the sand for those that think that the increase in ticket prices has led to the game being targeted at the middle classes.

Because alongside the normal array of mugs they sell an Americano mug. Because it would be completely heathen for fans to drink their espresso with hot water in a normal mug, and completely backward for such fans to assume that there is no difference between Americano and sa regular filter coffee. Come on you vulgar masses, get with the picture.
