Spanish La Liga side Real Sociedad have chosen a novel way to get over their inability to find a sponsor and also get closer to their fans.
The club have decided to have the names of 22 fans on their shirts, which will be drawn from the clubs 25,000 members in a big raffle draw.
Although the initiative won’t draw any financial gain, it does send out a nice gesture of goodwill towards their fans, and may encourage locals to sign up as members in an effort to get famous for the rest of the season.
