Aldershot striker Danny Hylton works to avoid FA Cup ban

Whislt it may initially seem to be a thoughful act, there was an undertone of selfishness about Aldershot striker Danny Hylton’s efforts to help out fans and ground staff by shovelling snow away from the pitch.

The club are desperately trying to get their midweek game against Northampton to go ahead, despite snow and ice causing the game to potentially be postponed.

And a postponement is the last thing that Hylton wants, because the Northampton game is the last of a three-game ban the striker received for being sent off against Rotherham.

If the game is called off, then this last game of the suspension will be his side’s FA Cup tie against Middlesbrough, a game that Hylton understandably doesn’t miss.

So, if you are Danny Hylton’s WAG and you are wondering where your hairdryer has got to, you know who has it.
