Police had to use tear gas to break-up a crowd that gathered outside a restaurant to see new signing Mario Balotelli.
AC Milan fans had assembled as their new signing attempted to dine with vice-president Adriano Galliani. The pair ended up dancing in the street with ultras at one point.
They were incited to join the party by chants of: “He who doesn’t jump is nerazzurro (an Inter Milan fan).”
The fans also kindly brought fireworks along to help Balotelli to settle in.
But it all got a bit nasty when police decided the noisy crowd should go home. Bottles were thrown and a policeman hospitalised as tear gas was used to break up the party.
