Obviously everyone knew about Daniel Sturridge’s arrival, but we’re not sure about the other players that Liverpool managing director Ian Ayre is taking on a tour of Melwood.

Solid lads all of them but with their lack of mobility, they’re not exactly built in the Brendan Rodgers mould. Still, they’ll probably be more effective than most of the players Gerard Houllier used to sign.
