Peter Odemwingie scores from 65 yards one second after final whistle
Peter Odemwingie had an up and down game against Aston Villa on Saturday evening. He shanked a number of chances over and wide, received some stick from the home crowd, and then scored the equaliser before pointing to his name in a bid to answer back at his critics.
However, the Nigerian could have ended the game in perfect style. Because about a second after the final whistle, he launched the ball from his own half.
With Aston Villa keeper Brad Guzan out of his goal, the ball sailed over the American and into the unguarded net.
Seconds away from the goal of the season.
