You’d think one of the perks of being a multi-millionaire footballer is that you wouldn’t have to associate yourself with anything embarrassing in order to make a decent living. But England and Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart was more than happy to become the new face of dandruff.

Hart is the star of a new TV advert for anti-dandruff shampoo Head & Shoulders. He follows in the footsteps of such luminaries as David Ginola and Jason McAteer by featuring in a shampoo advert.

After rolling around the pitch for a while clutching his head, Hart receives treatment for his itchy scalp.

Lather, rinse, repeat.
