Fenerbache fans find a novel way to interrupt Europa League match

Fenerbache were forced to play their Europa League match against BATE Borisov behind closed doors after causing crow trouble at recent matches. However, UEFA only decreed that supporters were not allowed into the ground itself. Thousands of fans therefore gathered outside the ground.

In addition to simply celebrating Fener’s aggregate victory, the pesky group still managed to interrupt the game. They attached flares to parachutes and dropped them into the stadium.

The scene outside the ground did look absolutely mental, but you can’t say that they aren’t passionate.
