Newcastle were the busiest Premier League club in the January transfer window bringing six new players to the club.
With five of the new signings hailing from France, and 14 French-speaking players now at the club, the canteen staff decided to throw a bit a France-themed day.
Sammy Ameobi tweeted a picture that made his trip to get some grub look a bit like a wander through the Les Miserables set.
And the club’s official Twitter account gave some insight into the menu:
