David Beckham made his Paris St Germain debut in a cameo appearance against Marseille yesterday – and he actually impressed.

Having completed possibly the most photographed warm-up routine in the history of world football, the former England captain came on as a 76th minute substitute for Javier Pastore with the score at 1-0.

He was involved in the build-up to a late clincher for PSG, flicking the ball through for Jeremy Menez, who crossed for Zlatan Ibrahimovic to bundle the ball home.

And he even found time to foul Joey Barton.
