Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville had one of his most enjoyable Monday Night Football performances so far as he got to critique his brother’s positioning with Everton manager David Moyes last night.

Rejoicing in the opportunity to tell Phil’s manager exactly where his younger sibling was going wrong, the elder Neville said: “I’ve waited 37 years to get on a programme with his manager where I can really get stuck into him.”

Neville added: “I called him up earlier. He said he was two yards out of position. I think he’s about five.”
