Lionel Messi may have received three Golden Balls, but now he has a Golden Foot to kick them with.
The statue was created by Japanese jeweller Ginza Tanaka to mark the player’s phenomenal achievements, and is believed to be worth as much as £3.5million.
Messi could not be in Japan to collect the award, but his brother Rodrigo went instead, and said: “It’s exceptional. You can see each line in the foot. It’s an impressive piece of work.”
Someone’s obviously been looking closely at his brother’s foot.
