Nathaniel Chalobah scores a golazo for Watford against Leicester City
With Chelsea to have another new manager this summer, one could expect Roman’s roubles to again be used to invest significantly in the playing squad.
However, there is one Chelsea player who last night scored one of the goals of the season, and at some point will surely be used at Stamford Bridge. Step forward Nathaniel Chalobah, who looks like one heck of a talent.
Chalobah scored the screamer last night to give Watford a 2-0 lead and keep alive their hopes of automatic promotion to the Premier League. The goal was the result of a long ball forward from the goalkeeper, and the ball fell to the young midfielder 30 yards from goal. He smashed the ball into the top corner of the goal. It hit the underside of the bar and gave Kasper Schmeichel no chance.
Chalobah is yet to make a league appearance for Chelsea, but already has four caps for England’s U21s.
