Widespread reports in Argentina suggest that Gonzalo Higuain is travelling to Arsenal to put pen to paper on his contract with the club.
The Real Madrid man is believed to have verbally agreed a three-year contract £100,000 a week.
The move has been in the offing for some time and the player has been cleared to discuss personal terms now the two clubs have agreed a £23 million fee.
Higuain’s father and agent, Jorge, said: “We received permission from Real Madrid to negotiate face to face with Arsenal and luckily soon I will see my son in the Premier League.”
So he seems pretty confident that the deal will be done.
