Croatian teenagers Tin Jedvaj and Alen Halilovic are on the verge of joining Tottenham, according to media reports in their homeland.
The Dinamo Zagreb duo, both aged 17, are two of the most highly-rated youngsters in Europe.
Dinamo president Mirko Barisic says a deal – reportedly a £15 million combined fee for both players is “all agreed”.
That deal is expected to see both players returning to Dinamo on loan and staying in Croatia until they turn 18.
That would mean Jedvaj joining in January, and Halilovic linking up with him next summer.
Roma had a £5 million for Jedvaj turned down last week, while Dinamo’s sporting director Zoran Mamic reckons Halilovic – scouted by Real Madrid and Arsenal – can become better than former Spurs star Luka Modric.
He said: “A lot of people have compared him to Luka Modric, but he’s better than Luka was at this age.
“Everyone at the club thinks he has even more potential and that he will become one of the best players in the world.”
