Arsenal have continued their Asian tour by running a football clinic with local children in Vietnam.
Players such as Theo Walcott, Tomas Rosicky and Olivier Giroud put youngsters in Hanoi through their paces before taking part in a training session of their own. The Gunners are preparing for a pre-season match againstVietnam XI at the My Dinh National Stadium.
After the session, Walcott talked up Arsenal’s chances of challenging for the title this season.
He said: “Where we kicked off at the end of the season, we had 10 games undefeated and I think we’ll just start on a high. I think that’s very positive.
“I think that we need to be, instead of challenging for the Champions League, I think we’ll be challenging for the title this year, that’s my desire anyway and I’m sure everyone else is the same.
“And, like I say, if players come in, it’s going to boost our… the whole team as well, but we’re just… what we’ve got at the moment is enough to win anything, I believe, so I think we are ready for the challenge and everyone’s committed.”
