Yaya Toure wary of Man Utd, Arsenal and Liverpool signings
Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure says he hopes his side will be fine in the new Premier League season, but is worried about the risk posed by the likes of champions Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool strengthening their squads this summer.
The Ivory Coast international also expressed concern about the possibility of a Chelsea resurgence under Jose Mourinho.
Speaking in Durban during City’s tour of South Africa, he said: “We know it is not easy. I hope this year is going to be fine because with the coming of Jose some of the great players come to (Manchester) United to Arsenal or Liverpool.
“But I think this year is going to be exciting, very exciting for the Premier League. I think the Premier League is one of the top leagues in the world and I think this year is going to be amazing.”
Let’s hope so, Yaya.
