Dinamo Zagreb wonderkid Alen Halilovic has agreed terms with Tottenham, according to reports in the Croatian media.
The 17-year-old startlet has been linked with a move to White Hart Lane all summer, but it has not yet materialised.
Croatian news website Jutarnji List reports that a £12.8m deal is now within sight after personal terms were agreed.
The player’s father Saed is said to have signed off on a deal on Friday that will see Halilovic join Spurs but immediately return to Dinamo on loan until he turns 18.
Under the terms of the deal, Halilovic’s younger brother Dino will also move to north London. That detail might seem trivial, but the transfer nearly collapsed earlier in the summer due to a dispute over school fees for Halilovic’s siblings.
