Arsenal have reportedly tied up a loan deal for Palermo keeper Emiliano Viviano.
The Italy international will be heading to London for a medical today, according to Sky Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.
The 27-year-old will leave Sicily this afternoon before catching a flight from Milan to London at 6pm, Di Marzio claims, with the two clubs having already reached an agreement.
Viviano has been consistently linked with a move to the Gunners this summer. He has been viewed as a backup option to first-choice transfer target Vicente Guaita, of Valencia.
The Spaniards have played hardball over Guaita’s £25m release clause, prompting Wenger to move for Viviano.
