Tottenham ‘plot transfer swoop’ for AC Milan’s Stephan El Shaarawy

Tottenham are planning to bring AC Milan striker Stephan El Shaarawy to White Hart Lane in January, according to reports in the Sunday People.

Andre Villas Boas is said to want to invest a large chunk of Gareth Bale’s transfer fee in the 20-year-old Italy international.

Spurs want extra firepower following the arrival of Roberto Soldado from Valencia this summer. With Emmanuel Adebayor training with the youth team and Jermain Defoe out of favour, Villas Boas is short on out-and-out strikers.

He will seek to remedy that in January.

While £20m-plus rated El Shaarawy is one target, a move for Juventus forward Fernando Llorente could prove more fruitful.

Milan are known to be keen on keeping El Shaarawy’s partnership with Mario Balotelli intact.

Pato + Llorente + a left back like neil taylor or ben davies would be great in january 🙂

    Llorente & Caentrao!!!

Yeah they will do. I was just thinking Neil Taylor +Ben Davies already play in the EPL and would be cheaper than Coentrao

Pato is Sh*te! that’s why he has gone back to his grass roots!
Brazilians cant defend, Italians can!! Hes avin time of his life there. No physical attributes to their game like here, its all razzle dazzle, fancy tricks etc. etc.! THFC need a good old fashioned CForward if they are to be in AVB’s system of a 1-4-2-3-1 system. Don’t shoot me down, but I think AnBdy Carroll would be better, with Lamela on left rotated with Chadli and Lennon rotated on right with Townsend. Erikson behind, With Sandro/Capoue & Paulinhio behind them.
Sorry but Rose is Raw!!! Coentrao is miles better, we could have done a deal with Real Madflid and have Fabio as part of any deal for GBale! Seeing as we are in partnership, BullSh*T!!!

We all know that partnership is all one way. They have had 2 players from us over the last 2 years and we aint had anyone from them.

Pato’s record in Milan was 1 goal every other game almost. That aint to bad considering he was used as a sub for some of them games.

For £12million I think we could do alot worse.

Llorente is an old fashioned CF so I guess your going to want him more.

I like Both Pato and Llorente its a big upgrade from Defoe and Adebayor.
