Jose Mourinho has once again hit out at Tottenham defender Jan Vertonghen, accusing him of simulation.
The Chelsea boss was unhappy at the Belgium international’s role in Fernando Torres red card in last Saturday’s game. And it was still on the agenda ahead of this weekend’s clash with Norwich.
Despite Torres scratching Vertonghen’s face, the message was clear: loss of control good, diving bad.
He said: “English football is English football and the Premier League is the most important championship and the most loved worldwide and one of the reasons is people enjoy emotion.
“People enjoy sometimes lose a little bit of control. People don’t enjoy simulation.”
