Juventus have told Chelsea to pay £40m if they want to bring former Manchester United youngster Paul Pogba back to the Premier League.
The France international has established himself as one of Serie A’s top talents since moving to Turin from Old Trafford in 2012.
But Juve are wary that the 20-year-old is refusing to commit to a new long-term deal. Although he still has two-and-a-half years to run on his current deal, they might choose to maximise their profit by selling now.
The Daily Express reports that some of the proceeds would be put towards a bid for Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke.
Jose Mourinho is a fan of Pogba but he will face competition from Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal and Real Madrid for the midfielder.
