Manchester City forward John Guidetti is rumoured to be a January transfer target for Liverpool.
The 21-year-old was tipped for big things after a hugely successful loan spell at Dutch side Feyenoord in the 2011/12 season.
But injury and illness have halted his progress since then and he is still very much on the fringes at the Eithad.
New City boss Manuel Pellegrini has warned the youngster that he is unlikely to feature in his side and it now seems that a transfer would suit both parties.
Liverpool are the favourites to land Guidetti, but Monaco and Tranzonspor are also in contention.
City would probably demand around £5m for the Swedish starlet, who is comfortable through the middle or on the wing.
