QPR boss Harry Redknapp says Newcastle are welcome to keep Loic Remy
Loic Remy does not have a future at QPR, according to manager Harry Redknapp.
The French striker, currently on-loan at Newcastle, will not be part of Redknapp’s plan even if the Loftus Road side win promotion back to the Premier League.
The 26-year-old has struggled for fitness since moving to St James’ Park, but has looked to be in excellent form in his first few games for Alan Pardew’s side.
And the Magpies are welcome to him, says ‘Arry.
He said: “Remy wanted to go to Newcastle, so good luck to him.
“I hope he does well.
”He’s not in my thoughts. I only want people who are here and want to be here, that’s all I’m concerned with.”
And the same applies to Adel Taarabt, who’s on-loan at Fulham, and Park Ji Sung, currently with PSV Eindhoven.
Redknapp added: ”Taarabt and all those who’ve gone on loan, good luck to them.
“I hope they do well, stay where they are and get a contract there.”
