Arsenal winger Theo Walcott will be the subject of a £34m from Monaco, according to the Daily Mail.
The wealthy French side will make their move for former Southampton youngster in January, the reports claim.
They see the speedy England international as their next big-name signing following the arrivals of Radamel Falcao, from Atletico Madrid, and Joao Moutinho, from Porto, over the summer.
The move seems very unlikely to happen though. Even if there is some substance in Monaco’s interest, the chances of Arsene Wenger being willing to sell and Walcott being prepared to turn his back on the Premier League seem very slim.
The 24-year-old has been out of action since September with an abdominal injury but is likely to be a key part of the Gunners’ squad once again when he returns to fitness.
