Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has reacted to England’s tricky World Cup draw – and he is pretty bullish about it.
Roy Hodgson’s side will face Italy, Uruguay and Costa Rica in Brazil. While that looks difficult on paper, Wilshere thinks England might as well have a tough group if they have ambitions of achieving anything next summer.
He said: “Tough group…but so what? If we want to win it we will have to play the best teams anyway!”
But German team-mate Thomas Eisfeld is not so confident about Wilshere’s hopes of progressing.
He repied: “Bye Bye bro.”
