Nottingham Forest have received offers from Arsenal and Newcastle for young defender Jamaal Lascelles, according to reports.
The 20-year-old has the offer of an improved contract at the City Ground at the table, but both the Gunners and the Magpies hope to sign him from promotion-chasing Forest this month.
The Gunners are understood to have offered £3m plus add-ons for Lascelles after chief scout Steve Rowley watching him in action against Bolton last weekend.
The Daily Mail reports that Newcastle’s offer is bigger.
Forest might consider a sale, but would prefer an offer that sees the youngster return to them on loan for the rest of the season.
