Arsenal are bracing themselves for a bid from Borussia Dortmund for winger Serge Gnabry.
Reports in the German media suggest that Dortmund hope to lure 18-year-old Gnabry back to his homeland as they begin planning for life without star striker Robert Lewandowski.
Tabloid newspaper Bild claims that Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp has already had the youngster scouted on a couple of occasions.
On rebuilding after Lewandowski joins Bayern Munich in the summer, Klopp said: “We are considering different players and different systems.”
It is unlikely the Gunners would be keen to part company with Gnabry. He has broken into Arsene Wenger’s first-team this season, and is likely to get even more playing time in the wake of Theo Walcott’s injury.
He is under contract until 2018.
