Manchester United midfielder Anderson has had an unusual presentation at Fiorentina during which he was asked to comment on his sexual preferences.

The Brazil international was being officially unveiled by the Italian side at the start of his loan spell with them, but was unexpectedly asked to respond to rumours that he is gay.

He replied: “This is the first time I’ve heard this story.

“I respect gay people but I like women. I have four kids.

“We don’t have any TVs in my house…”

Answers on a postcard if you know why being gay precludes you from owning a TV. Perhaps he means he hasn’t being able to follow rumours about him being gay on television.

He is saying ‘We Don’t have any TV’s in my house’ to explain why he has got more than the average amount of children. No television for entertainment, so let’s make babies! – it’s just a quip! – It’s not related to the being Gay bit.
