Bayern Munich striker Mario Mandzukic is reportedly wanted by Manchester United and Arsenal.
The Croatia international is likely to fall down the pecking order at the Bavarian giants after it was confirmed that Borussia Dortmund’s Robert Lewandowski will join them on a free transfer.
With football’s worst kept secret now out in the open, Mandzukic is being lined up by the Premier League sides.
The 27-year-old has 12 goals in 21 games so far this season, but is likely to see his opportunities restricted next term.
While he is unlikely to agitate for a move this month – and Bayern would be unlikely to sell – Mandzukic is being monitored by both David Moyes and Arsene Wenger ahead of possible bids in the summer.
Moyes was previously linked with the forward while he was Everton manager. Italian side Juventus are also thought to be watching the situation closely.
