Arsenal try to send Kim Kallstrom back to Spartak Moscow

Arsenal are attempting to get a refund on loan signing Kim Kallstrom and send him back to Spartak Moscow as damaged good, according to reports.

The Sweden international is out for up to two months with a back injury sustained playing beach football with his Spartak team-mates last week.

Although the Gunners were aware of the problem before completing the signing, the Sun on Sunday reports that they want to cancel the loan agreement now that the full extent of the 31-year-old’s injury has become clear.

The form Lyon star was drafted in to provide emergency cover for the injured Jack Wilshere and Aaron Ramsey, as well as the suspended Mathieu Flamini, during a busy run of fixtures for Arsene Wenger’s side.

But it now seems that at least two of those players – and possibly all three – will be available for action before Kallstrom.

ok superfan how do you explain starting XI agnst CP is only decent eleven we have right now with monstrous games coming up. just look at the bench. Even in this we dont have real winger, true striker who can score out of nothing.
its half time and it remains as it we might not even have feb fixtures to look forward to.

We might win all these games and go on to win EPL but it would be a big fluke nothing else. Wenger is the stubborn muppet who is just hell bent on satisfying his ego, not me not you.
