Chelsea striker Demba Ba has hinted that he will move to Italy this summer.
The Senegal international has reportedly told the Blues that he wants to leave at the end of the season.
The 28-year-old has been Jose Mourinho’s third-choice striker behind Samuel Eto’o and Fernando Torres this season and is known to be keen to bring in a new forward before the next campaign.
And after just three starts this season, it appears the prospect of falling further down the pecking order does not appeal to Ba.
He said: “I hope we can find the best option possible.
“I’d like to stay in England. I like other leagues, too. I’d like to try the Italian league.
“Nothing’s been confirmed but there are a few teams in Italy who play very good football.”
Ba appeared set to join Arsenal on loan at the start of the current season, but the deal fell through.
