Arsenal will seek to offload striker Olivier Giroud this summer, according to the Sun on Sunday.
Although Arsene Wenger is yet to commit his own future to the club ahead of next season, he has reportedly already decided that his compatriot shouldn’t be there.
The 27-year-old’s form has dipped in recent weeks, with the fatigued striker having spent most of the season as the Gunners’ only option up-front.
But it is believed to be Giroud’s off-field indiscretions that have particularly irked Wenger.
The same newspaper revealed that the former Montpellier man had sneaked model Celia Kay into his room in the team hotel in the early hours of a matchday earlier this season.
Giroud apologised to his wife via Twitter over the incident and was rumoured to have been disciplined by the Gunners.
But the latest reports indicate that Wenger plans to take his sanctions further once the transfer window is open.
