Tottenham playmaker Christian Eriksen has hinted that he is prepared to quit the club if they don’t progress to match his ambitions.
The former Ajax man has hit a rich run of form in recent weeks, with four goals in his last four games.
After a promising start under Andre Villas Boas after arriving at White Hart Lane last summer, his performances dipped, with a couple of injuries not helping matters.
But he is now back to best and his current form has seen him linked with the likes of Real Madrid.
The 22-year-old says he is enjoying life at Spurs, but made it clear that he won’t be averse to moving on to progress his career.
He told Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet: “I’m incredibly happy that they seem happy with me. I am very glad that they [the Spurs fans] like what they see.”
Eriksen added: “Of course I have a dream and a secret plan in my head. But I keep it to myself.
“Right now I live in the moment and enjoy the success I have.”
