Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor could be fit enough to start Monday night’s game against Sunderland.
The Togo international has been missing for Spurs’ last three games with a gashed heel and hamstring problem. But he could be brought straight back into the starting XI to face the Black Cats, according to Tim Sherwood.
The Spurs poss said: “Yes, there’s a chance he could start, yes. He’s done a week’s training so he’s got enough time under his belt.
“He won’t be 100 per cent but he’s quite good at 70 per cent.”
